Cambridge Leisure park, Clifton Way, CB1 7GX Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
The Alley Club Cambridge is delighted to welcome THE VAPORS back to Cambridge, Junction 2 to be precise!.. Their last gig here was at Cambridge Corn Exchange in 1980! Famous for the massive hit and hugely popular Turning Japanese expect this and many more hits such as New At Ten, Waiting For The weekend and Jimmie Jones all crammed into about 90 minutes of pure excitement and entertainment!
THE FACE,a 1979 Mod band from Hornchurch, Essex will support and were famous for never quite making it first time round. That is until The Alley Club re launched their career with Mods Mayday gigs and the release of their anthem "Morning Time" on the Beat Scene '65 cd compilation, available at alleyclub.co.uk and… on the night.
As if that wasn't enough we offer you the chance to see a fantastic young, up and coming band from Northampton, THE KEEPERS. The Alley Club gives them our stamp of approval. Expect high energy originals and covers and a surprise or two!
Still there's more! Well known long time Mod and face on the music scene DARREN SQUIRES (Ex Yeh-Yeh, Blackpool and The Frantics, Perth, Australia, he gets about!) will be celebrating his birthday by djing, keeping us all entertained inbetween band sets.
Tickets — advance £18 from ticket link or alleyclub.co.uk
