Be part of the next Game of Dragons Outdoor Maths Challenge. It is a novel form of maths competition, which combines maths with a treasure hunt. The Game takes place on Saturday, 17th March in the gardens of St John's College. If you would like to know more about Game of Dragons, please visit our website: dragonmaths.com and to sign up, please, fill out this form:
You don't even need to be any good at maths! (Although this it is not a disadvantage either).
What do we need from you?
-To be free at least 12pm-5pm on Saturday, 17th March. We will go for dinner after the Game — everyone is welcome to join.
-To attend one of the meetings mentioned above, explaining the role of volunteers (if you can't make either of the times, let us know and we might be able to arrange another meeting).
-To be nice and friendly to the kids and other volunteers on the day!
What we will provide:
-Game of Dragon T'-shirt, which we ask you to wear on the day.
As the competition is free for participants, we will rely completely on volunteers to run the event — we need volunteers to be at each station and to guide the students through the competition. There will be two meetings to explain the details of the event (provisional times are 6pm on the 13th and 15th March)
