Enterprise Tuesday: Friendly-ish 'Dragons' Den'

Panel: Two ventures from Accelerate Cambridge and two from the Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship

Investor panel: Kerry Baldwin, IQ Capital, Amelia Armour, Amadeus, Simon Thorpe, angel investor and Managing Partner at Delta 2020

During this session, you will see pitches by early stage entrepreneurs who are being supported by the Cambridge Judge Entrepreneurship Centre. You will get a chance to see how much is pitched without breaking confidentiality, what information investors look for, the drive and passion which makes even the earliest stage ideas look interesting. You will also hear the difficult questions and answers for plans for commercialisation. Our panel will give you an idea of what investors seek and find interesting about early stage ideas. How do they identify businesses that can grow and scale? Bring your own questions and join us for this high energy evening to round off the series.

For further information on the guest speakers and topics, please view the timetable jbs.cam.ac.uk/entrepreneurship/programmes/enterprise-tuesday/timetable/

About Enterprise Tuesday:
Enterprise Tuesday is free to attend and open to all University of Cambridge staff and students, members of other universities and the business community. The series is particularly relevant for postgraduate students considering future career paths, those exploring entrepreneurial opportunities and looking to build high quality networks with experts and practitioners. It is also a chance for the business community to mix with the next generation of talent and hear from successful entrepreneurs.

This Enterprise Tuesday programme for 2017/2018 will run across two more terms from 6 February 2017 to 22 May 2018 across three terms.

“Enterprise Tuesday is more than a series of talks! It is a platform for the exchange of ideas, the beginning of collaborative relationships, and the promotion of entrepreneurship.” Dr Stella Pachidi, Lecturer in Information Systems, Cambridge Judge Business School

Each Enterprise Tuesday event consists of a lecture by our visiting speaker(s) for approximately an hour-and-a-half, followed by a further hour of networking with your peers, members of the entrepreneurial community and business professionals.
