Acting Now Physical Theatre Shcool launches new Acting Courses!

Two courses for Beginners and Intermediate — Advanced, starting in January 2018.

BEGINNERS (II): This is an introductory course that will cover device theatre, movement, improvisation and neutral mask. It is the continuation of the same course run during Autumn 2017, however it is also open to new participants with no previous experience.

— When: 9 sessions on Mondays 18.30 — 21.00 from 15/01/2018
— Where: Ross Street Community Centre, Ross St, Cambridge CB1 3UZ

ADVANCED: During the course, we will devise a contemporary play from scratch using different physical theatre techniques.

— When: 9 sessions on Wednesdays 18.30 — 21.00 from 17/01/2018
— Where: St Matthews Church, 30 St Matthew's St, Cambridge CB1 2LT.

MEET THE TEACHER:

Marina Pallares, Acting Now's founder and Artistic Director will teach both courses. Marina is a professional actress and applied theatre practitioner, with over ten years of experience working across Europe and South America using theatre as a tool for social change. She has developed exciting theatre projects with traveller communities, ex-offenders, adults with learning disabilities, people with mental health challenges, women, teenagers and refugees all over the world.

N.B. Refund policy. In the event of cancellation, we will refund your payment in full if you let us know 30 days before the start of the course. If for unforeseen reasons, your availabilty changes while the course is running and you cannot complete it, we will be happy to discount the remainder of the sessions if you book another course, but refunds won´t be available.
