Come and see our Light Projections inspired by the Community!

Bright Lights CB4 by Oblique Arts

These projections are about the creative brain. Our colourful interpretation of circulating ideas and emotions is taken from a series of workshops run by artists with community groups in CB4. The groups are made up of specific individuals who use their brains in very different ways. We have explored the minds of creative professionals and people with various mental health difficulties, including dementia. We worked with Rowan Humberstone, Cambridge Artworks & Artspace, Thrift Walk Studio, Cambridge Art Salon, Cambridge Manor Care Home, Victoria Homes and Wintercomfort for the homeless. The objects and images that they produced have been incorporated into the moving image projections.
