Dear All,

We are pleased to invite you to our talk on the state of Christians in Iraq on Monday 16 October from 7.30 p.m. at Fisher House.

The speakers will be Fr Salar Kajo and Stephen Rasche.

Fr Salar Kajo is the parish priest of St George’s Church, Teleskeof, a largely Christian town and neighbouring villages in Nineveh, northern Iraq. He is overseeing the resettlement of the faithful back in the town which was badly damaged by Daesh (ISIS) and other militant groups. He is a key project partner for ACN which is repairing damaged homes and St George’s Church, and the talk is going to explain the situation and include personal experience.

Stephen Rasche is the Programme Coordinator for Iraqi Christians returning to their homelands post Daesh (ISIS). He is going to provide an review on the resettlement of displaced families in Nineveh.

Time for questions is included and a drinks reception will follow.

The event is organised in collaboration with Aid to the Church in Need UK.
