The Centre for Computing History
Rene Court, Coldhams Road, CB1 3EW Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
The award winning John Romero, co-founder of id Software and possibly one of the most influential games designers of all time will be taking the stage at the Centre for Computing History. The man behind such iconic titles as Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and Quake will be talking about his time in the games industry and will also be answering audience questions.
Mike James aka UK Mike (RetroGamingRoundup) will once again be playing host for us and we'll be open late after the talk for people to hang out and play some of the games that John has worked on over the years.
There will be a licensed bar courtesy of Lord Conrad's Brewery and we'll also have 400 Degrees Pop Up Pizzeria on site.
6pm till 10pm.
Please note that some of the games on display at this event are rated as being suitable for those over the age of 18. So caution is advised if bringing children along.
Spaces for this exclusive event are limited, so booking is required to ensure your place, although if you're lucky you *may* get in on the day. (tickets on the door will be £2 extra)
