Held at the Wesley Methodist Church, Christ's Pieces, Cambridge

This is a wonderful opportunity to join bestselling writer Anthony Horowitz as he talks to Elly Griffiths about his latest book THE WORD IS MURDER: the first in a new series of crime novels starring Detective Michael Hawthorne — and the author himself.

The author of the bestselling teen spy series, Alex Rider, Anthony Horowitz is also responsible for creating and writing some of the UK’s most loved and successful TV series, including Midsomer Murders and Foyle’s War. He has also written two highly acclaimed Sherlock Holmes novels, The House of Silk and Moriarty, and a James Bond novel, Trigger Mortis. His most recent stand-alone novel, Magpie Murders, was a Top Five Sunday Times bestseller.

Elly Griffiths is the CWA Dagger Award-winning author of the Dr Ruth Galloway series.

Tickets for the evening are priced at £16.50 in advance and a copy of The Word is Murder is included in the price (RRP £20). There is also a limited quantity of tickets without a book available for £10. Tickets can be purchased through this page, by calling 01223 463200 or in person at Heffers bookshop.

Please note that tickets are transferable but not refundable.
