Hey everyone,

Next event is May 20th, will be running Melee and Smash 4 brackets. As introduced last time, there will be a £2 entry fee for each bracket.

There won't be setup discounts this time, in the past I've funded them myself, but as the events got bigger the cost became quite high.

The venue is the Cambridge Centre for Computing History, it can be a bit difficult to find so use Google Maps and feel free to contact me if you get lost.

The event will be held from 11 AM — 5 PM (museum’s closing time), with signups on the day.

This is a public space, so please behave: we’ve had complaints about noise, language and smell in the past. There’s kids around, please keep it family friendly. We cannot afford to lose this venue.

Venue Fee — £7 for students, £8 for non students. This gives access to the entire museum, feel free to explore it between sets, it's very cool.

Tournament Fee — £2. Pot split will be 60-30-10

Sign ups for the tournament ends at 12:30, and the tournament will begin ASAP after that. If you can't make it by then don't worry, we'll still be playing friendlies on free set-ups during the day. If you are running a little late, message me if you are 100% coming and you will be added to the bracket.

The event is BYOC (bring your own controller). We have an extremely limited set of spares between us, so don’t count on getting one if you don’t bring your own.

The museum is open to the general public during these events, and we've had kids come in and play in the past. Be friendly, let them have a few games if they want and then they'll be on their way :~)
