Senator Bernie Sanders, American Politician
Senator from Vermont since 2007, Sanders’ campaign for the Democratic Presidential candidacy in 2016 raised more money in small, crowd-funded contributions than any other in American history, and rose his democratic socialist campaign to international recognition. Sanders was a Vermont congressman for 16 years before his Senate election, and acclaimed as the most popular American politician amongst constituents in both 2015 and 2016.
Sanders recently published ‘Our Revolution’, detailing his unexpected successes and experiences in taking on the Democratic establishment as an independent presidential candidate.
